Review- I like plot in porn. Not too much, but a set-up is a good thing. A bit of character or story can make the difference between hot and not. Admittedly, plot can get in the way of the sex in a porn movie. What is rare is for a plot to get in the way of the plot. Such is the case with 2nd Coming. The story tries too hard to develop characters and create suspense. It ends up confused and dry. This makes the first three-fourths of the flick a chore to watch. It''s not until Tia Bella cuts loose that it gets steamy. Until then, the sex scenes seem like an afterthought in a script that desperately wants to be clever and innovative.

It seems that Mark Wallace has a problem with his unadventurous girlfriend, played by the curvy, smoky beauty, Tia Bella. She''s frigid, not wanting to have sex in any new ways. This is established when she won''t do the naughty with him in an abandoned warehouse. There''s a lot of talking and not enough nudity (though Tia looks good in nothing but a jacket and heels), that leads to Marc watching porn and hiring a hooker.

He''s more interested in the starlet "Olivia Sands" (played by Jill Kelly) on the screen then the whore in his lap. The hooker is cute, with tiny titties and short blonde hair, and gives a good few seconds of blow-job. They have a bout of doggy style that isn''t bad, but too brief. It''s all too brief, they have to make room for the plot.

Tia walks in on them and kicks Mark out. His landlord tells him to apologize, but Mark decides to simply chase the Olivia Sands character. So, he goes to a strip club and the bartender tells him that he must talk to Willie the bum, out in the back alley, to find her. Which is when the story starts to veer off into stupid.

There''s a dream-ish sequence where Jill leads a boy into an abandoned warehouse to screw. She teases him and gives a decent hummer. She rides him cowgirl and the multiple angles feature is a definite bonus. Switching between the three choices was a good time. After a standing doggy style, he spoos on Jill''s butt and she pushes him away.

Back to reality and Willie the bum warns Mark away, saying Olivia is a man-eater. Then gives him a card to her "fantasy fulfillment" company. The catch is that she only services women''s fantasies.

Do you see now how the plot becomes too laborious? Why this shift from stripper/porn-star to mysterious-fantasy-dom? The twists are too twisty for porn. The audience shouldn''t have to think this much.

Mark visits the grounds of the company, which is in a mansion, and stumbles on a rather warm sex scene. Shane Tyler, in nothing but a thong, crawls over to a guy who rubs her with oil. It''s sexy to see. Gets better, too, when she gives him a slow and slick blow-job before he fucks her from behind, holding her arms back for leverage. The multiple angles are once again used well and give good views of the reverse cowgirl ride Shane takes. You might hope that this was the start of the good part, but it''s only an aberration before the weirdness really sets in.

The story becomes almost impossible to follow for a while. Let''s just say that it involves a midget, a strip-club, and the revelation that the bartender is Olivia''s husband. It''s not really important, so forget about it.

The tangled plot continues. Tia finds a card for the fantasy mansion and goes there, but Mark has already set something up for her. Blah, blah, blah. Jill Kelly and Tia hook up and things heat up.

Jill gives Tia some ho-clothes and then seduces her. It''s a fine bit of lezzie loving as the two large chested vixens, dark and light, go at each other in a slow and sensuous way. Jill stays in charge, guiding Tia as she eats and gets eaten. The dildo fucking is a steamy moment and Tia repays the favor by fucking Jill''s ass.

To complete the new arrival''s debauchery, Jill has a club full of people watch Tia fuck two other women and a man on stage. Tia strokes the girls and ends up getting fucked well by the guy. The best moment is with Tia lying on one of the women (who''s on all fours) as the guy pounds into her. They roll around, the audience gets into each other, and Mark shows up to have his heart broken.

In an inexplicable finale, Jill is done by two guys (Mark Davis and Vince Voyeur) as the bartender watches. It''s a brief scene, with a few positions that catch the eye, but it''s not as hot as the Tia show.

OVERALL: Trying to follow the plot makes my head hurt. The director seems to know exactly what he''s saying, but it doesn''t come across well on film. He should have simplified it, or been more clear. Instead he tries to make it mysterious and intriguing, which ends up as confusing and irritating. Still, Tia Bella almost single-handedly saves the last part of the flick, giving two hot performances with the help of Jill Kelly and friends. It''s not the masterpiece it wants to be, but there is some quality to it.

EXTRAS: As with many Vivid titles, the extras are off the hook. There is a ton of stuff to wade through and about an hour of extra footage. Chapter search and a set up feature start things off, then there''s the "Fetish Rooms" section which will take you to specific sex acts in the movie, four previews, a large photo gallery, and an internet ad. Most enjoyable, though is the "Bonus Rooms" part, which has 12 full scenes from other movies. Excellent collection of extras.
